The Role And Responsibilities
As the Strategic Secretariat & Business Support Manager, you will play a central role in supporting high‑quality decision‑making at the heart of TPR. Working closely with the Chief of Staff, CEO and Executive Committee (ExCo), you will help ensure that senior leaders have the clarity, structure and insight they need to make effective decisions that ultimately protect savers and strengthen the pensions system. You will manage the end‑to‑end coordination of ExCo governance, from planning agendas to producing clear minutes and action records, ensuring that discussions are well‑sequenced, transparent and aligned with TPR’s strategic priorities. This role is highly collaborative, working with colleagues across the CEO Office, Board Secretariat, Corporate Governance and senior leaders across directorates. You will build trusted relationships, anticipate emerging issues and help keep organisational priorities on track. You will also support continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to strengthen governance processes and enhance how TPR’s leadership operates.

* Experience managing senior‑level executive committees with strong governance and secretariat standards.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear liaison and documentation.

* Technological proficiency, including experience with board management or digital governance tools.
