Your Role EFIsle of Wighthas an exciting opportunity to support the SummerResidence Team, ensuring our international students are well cared for andthata safeandcomfortable living environment ismaintainedat all times. This is an ideal role for anyonewho ispassionate about customer service,working with international studentsandwith a strong ability to work independently and take ownership of situations. Responsibilities
1. Ensures the smooth running of the student residences
2. To ensure the residences provide a comfortable, safe living environment
3. To maintainEF policies, accreditation criteria and Golden Rules
4. To provide the highest level of customer service at all times
5. To helpmaintain‘one team’,where the different departments liaise and interact effectively and efficiently
6. Allocates new bookings to residential accommodation on Elektra within EF’s Golden Rules
7. Sends correct residence information to sales offices intimelymanner
8. Assistscustomers with residence queries, ensuring prompt follow up and excellent customer service
9. Liaises with external suppliers where cleaning/maintenance issues are reported
10. Completes weekly occupancy statistics
11. Ensures the Residence Manager is informed about residence availability.
12. Ensures allocation information sent to residence suppliers isaccurateand on time
13. Prepares arrival & departure documents andprovideskeys for all arrivals
14. Follows up any disciplinary issues together with the Residence Manager and ensures sanctions are applied in line with EF’s residence rules and regulations
15. Liaises with welfare teamregardingany issues reported for residential students
16. Assistswith the training and supervision of temporary staff/interns
17. Participates in student intakes and first week chats
18. Arranges residence feedback questionnaires
19. Full-time, 6 days a week.
20. Shares emergency duty on a rota basis
21. Reporting to the Residence Manager
Requirements
22. Must be a team player that can lead from the front, be outgoing and have great attention to detail
23. You should be passionate about customer service and providing quality
24. Ability to work under pressure and in a high paced environment
25. Legally able to work in the UK, have a UK/Irish passport or a work permit
26. Fluent in English
