Role overview In this role as FIBA Relationship Manager you will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with specialised lenders and members to support long-term business growth and mutual success. This is a varied role which will include panel management, driving business growth, supporting member training, event coordination and lots more. What you'll be doing Positively influence business levels across the specialist property market through proactive engagement and strategic support. Support initiatives to increase membership levels across FIBA both at member and lender levels. Conduct regular review meetings with member firms and lenders to identify growth opportunities and to ensure they are receiving all benefits of membership. Lead proactive call-out days to strengthen lender and member relationships and deliver meaningful value. Complete assigned project work within agreed timescales, ensuring quality and alignment with business objectives. Effectively manage partner and member expectations through clear communication and reliable follow-through. Proactively identify opportunities within lender and partner propositions that deliver added value to our members. What you'll need to succeed Essential experience: Strong working knowledge of the UK specialist property finance market, with a clear understanding of industry dynamics and trends. CPSP and/or CeMAP qualified, demonstrating a solid foundation in specialist mortgage advice and regulation. Proven experience within the intermediary sector, with a track record of supporting and influencing advice firms. Background in intermediary development or account management within the financial services industry. Experience in complaint handling, ensuring swift and professional resolution. Essential skills: Skilled in motivating and engaging intermediaries to drive business performance and enhance proposition uptake. Confident in delivering tailored training sessions and bespoke presentations to audiences of varying sizes and levels of expertise. Comfortable hosting Q&A sessions and panel discussions, facilitating valuable dialogue and member engagement. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and maximise productivity. Strong objection-handling capabilities, with a proactive and solution-focused approach Your approach to work Work collaboratively to achieve team KPIs and targets, contributing to a high-performance culture. Maintain a strong focus on achieving individual KPIs and delivering consistent results. Organise and manage diary commitments to maximise time efficiency and ensure strategic alignment of appointments. Confidently troubleshoot challenges or complaints, escalating for support when necessary to ensure swift resolution. Location This is a fully remote, field-based role. You should expect to be on the road visiting members between 2 and 3 days each week. The ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands or Home counties areas but other regions will be considered.
