The Role

The Commercial Brand & Marketing Coordinator will support the Operations Director, the Commercial Brand & Marketing Manager/wider Iconix EMEA team in delivering business development, brand and marketing activity across the portfolio. The role is predominantly focused on supporting the team in driving business development, managing social media channels, maintaining and updating brand websites, coordinating marketing activations with partners, and keeping brand materials (e.g., guidelines, toolkits and decks) up to date, as well as supporting on brand management itself. You will also support the Commercial Brand & Marketing Manager to create and adapt marketing assets, including the use of AI tools where appropriate, to ensure consistent brand presentation across touchpoints. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and someone who is always willing to roll their sleeves up and work to get the job done proactively.


The Team

Iconix EMEA is the EMEA arm of Iconix International, Inc., which owns a diversified portfolio of fashion and home brands that touch every segment of retail distribution from the luxury market to the mass market. These include brands such as Starter, Ed Hardy, Ecko Unltd, Zoo York, Rocawear, Ocean Pacific, Danskin and Modern Amusement. Iconix licenses its wholly-owned brands to leading retailers and manufacturers worldwide, as well as representing brands on behalf of third-party licensors. With innovative and creative marketing and brand executions, Iconix is an industry leader in promoting and elevating brands in the marketplace through traditional and new media platforms.


Within this Marketing and Brand Coordination role, you will work closely with the Operations Director, Marketing Lead and wider Iconix EMEA team, as well as global counterparts and external partners. This role will give you exposure to delivering brand activity across social, digital and partner channels, and to supporting consistent brand governance across a portfolio of international brands.


Accountabilities:

Brand Management


* Responsible for the brand management of a specific brands
* Create and regularly update pitch decks dedicated to the brand as well as retailers/territories/categories.
* Manage product approvals, review ranges with key retail and licensee partners, attend market meetings and ensure the brand DNA is being upheld.
* Manage communication with partners on trend, and brand direction, merchandising and marketing strategies.
* Communication with the US and international teams
* Draft and manage annual timelines and action calendars for brand/s.
* Assist in the formulation of marketing programs with the Marketing lead and actively lead the roll out to partners.
* Maintain style guides and packaging for each brand in conjunction with the Marketing lead.


New business & Licensee Management

* Support the team in driving the commercial development of selected brands in the portfolio, generating new business pipeline via new client research, proactive cold approach lead generation and follow up.
* Work through the process of contract negotiation
* Build relationships with licensees and/or retail partners to identify ways to generate additional revenue including product category extensions, territory extensions, the additions of new brands or sublicense/partner networking opportunities.
* Responsible for the basic financial revenue on all respective brands in accordance with the European Strategy and licensee business plans
* Aid and oversee the collection of retail sales reporting, analyze, and distribute analysis to identify growth opportunities in accordance with the European Strategy.
* Involvement with Sales budgeting, forecasting and the development of both growth plans and performance enhancement plans for the existing business, including supporting and driving new business development initiatives where required.


Social Media & Content Management

* Support the Commercial Brand & Marketing Manager with the management of assigned social media accounts, including content planning, scheduling, publishing and basic community management in line with brand.
* Coordinate approvals, posting requirements and content delivery with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely.
* Build strong working relationships with brand, e-commerce and partner teams to identify content opportunities, support campaign moments and improve performance.
* Track and report on key social performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, traffic where available), sharing insights and recommendations to inform future content.
* Coordinate content capture and activation support (e.g., shoots, in-store, partner posts) including timelines, asset lists and basic logistics.
* Maintain an organised content and asset library and ensure teams have access to the latest approved materials.
* Support campaign planning by maintaining content calendars, coordinating key dates and ensuring assets are created, approved and delivered on time.


Web, Brand Materials & Marketing Activations

* Support the Commercial Brand & Marketing Manager with the maintenance of brand websites, including updating banners, landing pages, product/stockist pages and SEO-friendly copy
* Create and regularly update core brand materials such as brand guidelines, brand decks, toolkits and templates to support consistent use across markets and partners.
* Coordinate marketing and brand governance approvals (e.g., social posts, web updates, campaign assets and partner materials) to ensure the brand DNA is upheld.
* Support the coordination of marketing activations and campaign roll-outs with partners, including briefing, timelines, deliverables, and post-campaign wrap-ups.
* Collaborate with global counterparts and internal teams, providing regular updates on marketing activity and supporting reporting requirements.
* Draft and manage annual marketing calendars and key timelines across social, web and partner activations.
* Create and adapt marketing assets (e.g., social tiles, banners, email graphics and basic copy) in conjunction with the Marketing Lead, including using AI creation tools where appropriate and in line with brand guidance.
* Support the Marketing Lead with channel optimisation, basic paid social boosting coordination (where applicable) and ongoing best-practice improvements.
* Maintain and version-control brand guidelines, templates and core assets, ensuring teams and partners are using the latest approved materials.


Product Approvals

* Manage product approvals for specific Iconix brands, ensuring all submissions are compliant with guidelines and approved artwork/identity.
* Coordinate and track approvals across internal stakeholders (Brand/Marketing, Operations) and external partners/licensees
* Review submitted product and packaging artwork for brand consistency and flag non-compliance issues for correction.
* Support compliance by ensuring required information and approvals are captured (e.g., legal lines, highlighting potential IP infringements), escalating queries to the appropriate teams.
* Provide regular status updates to wider team on this area.



Business Administration & Ad Hoc Support

* Handle ad hoc business administrative requests to support the wider team, prioritising effectively
* Maintain organised digital filing and version control across brand asset platforms
* Coordinate couriers/shipments/email send outs as required (e.g., samples, artwork packs or marketing materials)
* Support basic business analysis for use in internal updates and presentation decks (e.g., pulling data, summarising key points, creating simple charts/tables where needed).
* Assist with chasing accounts receivable (AR) and/or supporting reporting requirements, liaising with Finance and internal stakeholders as directed.
* Provide general coordination support (e.g., meeting logistics, note-taking and action tracking) to help projects run smoothly.


The Candidate

* Graduate in a transferable field
* Prior experience in a marketing, social media, digital or brand coordination role delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Key skills: multitasking, teamwork, presenting a professional image, positive persuasion, willingness to learn, and the ability to absorb and retain new information
* Interest in fashion and/or consumer brands, with a strong curiosity for marketing, brand building, social media and digital culture
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including copywriting and proofreading, and the ability to present information clearly
* Problem-solving, results-oriented mentality, with a proactive, positive can-do attitude
* An excellent teamworker who is also independently motivated
* Confident using MS Office, experience with creative software (e.g., Adobe, Canva), social scheduling tools, and website/CMS platforms is a plus. Comfortable using AI tools to support asset creation and ideation
* A conscientious and organised approach, with strong attention to detail


The Package

* Permanent contract, Monday–Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm
* Based in Covent Garden
* Salary: circa £32,000–£35,000 per annum (DOE)
* Discretionary bonus up to 10% (dependent on individual and company performance)
* Hybrid working (currently 2 office days per week, subject to change)
* Full benefits package
