Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for the right person (RGN, RMN, OT or Physiotherapist) to join our team and play a major role in the Service Delivery Unit leadership team, leading the Redditch and Bromsgrove Neighbourhood Teams. The post holder will be involved in the operational management of these three Teams, including line management of Band 7 Team Leads, Therapy Leads, Band 4 PA and some ACPs; budget management; quality and performance monitoring; and service improvements. The post holder will take part in system calls regarding patient flow and support with the escalation of delays where needed. They will lead and monitor innovations around working more closely with Primary Care as part of the Accelerator pilot site to further develop an integrated service approach to care. The role also supports initiatives in Frailty, AHP integration and Tissue Viability. The post holder will work closely with the Deputy Associate Director and fellow Integrated Community Service Leads as part of our Senior Management Team. Accountable to the Deputy Associate Director, you will support strategic leadership to clinical services operationally on a day-to-day basis and will be aligned with the following services: Neighbourhood Teams, MSK / APP Services, and our Housing, Adaptations and Equipment Services. The post holder will be involved in an exciting period of service development with the roll out of the Ageing Well Agenda, enhanced models of frailty care and developing closer working and operational alignment with partner organisations. You will require energy and a commitment to quality improvement across this diverse portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Provide operational management of the Redditch and Bromsgrove Neighbourhood Teams, including line management of Band 7 Team Leads, Therapy Leads, Band 4 PA and some ACPs.
* Oversee budget management, quality and performance monitoring, and drive service improvements.
* Participate in system calls regarding patient flow and escalate delays as needed.
* Lead innovations to work more closely with Primary Care as part of the Accelerator pilot site to develop an integrated service approach to care.
* Support initiatives in Frailty, AHP integration and Tissue Viability.
* Collaborate with the Deputy Associate Director and Integrated Community Service Leads as part of the Senior Management Team.
* Align operational leadership with Neighbourhood Teams, MSK / APP Services, and Housing, Adaptations and Equipment Services.
* Contribute to the Ageing Well Agenda, enhanced models of frailty care, and closer working with partner organisations.
* Demonstrate energy and commitment to quality improvement across the portfolio.
Qualifications and Requirements
The role requires a registered professional background (RGN, RMN, OT or Physiotherapist) with experience in service leadership and operational management at scale. A readiness to engage in cross-system collaboration and quality improvement is essential.
