Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in English at the West Durrington Campus. You will shape the futures of 16‑19‑year‑old students as they navigate their GCSE and Functional Skills English journey.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence, supporting students to succeed in exams and develop essential English skills for life. Coordinate and deliver curriculum for GCSE and Functional Skills, facilitate learning, provide assessment and feedback, and work collaboratively with colleagues to improve student outcomes.
Qualifications
Relevant subject experience and a level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in a related subject. Good communication skills and a passion for teaching English.

Pro rata salary £27,785 – £43,325 per annum (equivalent £15,319.30 – £23,887.30 per month). 20.4 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working pattern will be discussed at interview.
