We are an ambitious and growing company looking to expand our client base and build a high-performing telesales operation. As part of our growth strategy, we are setting up a call centre to generate leads, close sales, and drive revenue. We are now seeking a motivated, results-driven Telesales Lead Generator & Manager to take charge of this exciting new venture.
Role Overview
This is a dual-role opportunity where you will generate new leads through outbound calls while also taking the lead in building and managing a telesales team. You'll play a key part in establishing processes, training staff, and hitting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound calls to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
* Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through effective lead generation.
* Convert warm leads into sales opportunities.
* Develop and implement telesales scripts and sales strategies.
* Recruit, train, and manage telesales agents as the team grows.
* Monitor team performance and set clear KPIs/targets.
* Report on sales activity, results, and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with company leadership to help shape and grow the call centre.
What We're Looking For
* Proven telesales or lead generation experience.
* Strong closing skills with a track record of hitting targets.
* Previous experience in a team leader or manager role (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Ambition to help grow a new call centre from the ground up.
