In this role, you will take ownership of electrical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and general building services across a critical environment. The Role
As an Electrical Shift Leader, you will:
* Oversee and coordinate HV electrical maintenance during your shift.
* Lead and support a team of engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
* Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
* Act as the lead contact in emergency situations, ensuring risks are managed effectively.
* Mentor, train, and upskill technicians to keep the team aligned with industry best practice.
* Produce accurate shift reports, records, and performance updates.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
* HV Authorised Person (experienced with HV systems)
* City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
* 17th Edition IEE Wiring & Installation (18th Edition training provided if required)
* Proven experience in a critical environment
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure
* Willingness to attend on‑site and off‑site training
* Working knowledge of AC systems, UPS, generators, and LV systems with strong fault‑finding ability
