* Salary: £12.69 - £13.31 per hour (£13,447.50 - £13,842.40 per annum)

* Shift Patterns: 2–3 shifts per week (Typical pattern 2 on 4 off), rotational basis, 4 weeks advance rota
* Sleep-in shift bonus: £30 per sleep‑in shift (£1,560 per week based on 1 sleep‑in)
* Overtime: 1.25x hourly rate

About the Role
We are looking for Children and Young Persons Residential Support Workers to join our home who can establish meaningful relationships creating a positive, warm, and rewarding environment. This permanent role supports both children and young adults within a CSE residential setting for girls and boys aged 7–18. The work is dynamic and diverse, with tasks ranging from organising activities to 1:1 support and off‑site activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing emotional support during challenging times
* Building strong and healthy relationships with young people to help them trust again
* Working as a key worker to one of the young people
* Helping them build resilience and self‑confidence
* Teaching boundaries and healthy relationship patterns
* Fostering ambition and assisting them in achieving goals and maximising potential
* Supporting their educational pursuits
* Maintaining accurate records and preparing written reports for planning meetings, reviews or other meetings as directed by line manager
* Empowering young people to actively participate in decision‑making about their lives and future
* Acting as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion
* Encouraging community engagement, attending off‑site activities, and expanding their personal social networks
* Meeting the needs of children and young people, organising social activities and maintaining the home (laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.)
Qualifications / Experience / Requirements
* Minimum age 21 years old
* Full UK driving licence preferable
* No prior experience necessary, only commitment and passion for working with young people
* Attendance at a 2‑week training programme required
* Must have availability for sleep‑in shifts
