About the Role\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a dependable and customer-focused IT professional to work in a high-profile environment supporting business-critical systems and VIP users.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive deskside support, with a strong emphasis on Windows 11 and VIP stakeholder support. The role offers great exposure to financial technologies and enterprise-level IT infrastructure.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nWindows 11 Support - Daily troubleshooting, updates, and optimisation of Windows 11 systems.\nHardware Support - Maintenance and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, IP telephony devices, scanners, and mobile devices.\nActive Directory (AD) Support - User and group administration, password resets, and account troubleshooting.\nMicrosoft Office 365 Support - Troubleshooting Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint in a business environment.\nFinancial Application Support - Assist users with key finance-specific software and platforms used within the organisation.\nRemote Support - Provide support to users in other sites using remote desktop tools and remote ticket resolution methods.\nNationwide Support - Occasional travel to other UK sites may be required for in-person support.\nVIP User Support - Deliver priority support to senior executives and business leaders with minimal disruption and complete professionalism.Required Skills & Experience\n\n3-5 years of experience in a deskside support or EUC (End User Computing) role within a mid-to-large enterprise setting.\nProven ability to manage and resolve tickets in a timely and professional manner.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in high-pressure or VIP support scenarios.Technical Skills (Mandatory)\n\nOperating Systems: Windows 11\nHardware: Laptops, Desktops, Printers, IP Phones, Mobile Devices, Scanners\nDirectory Services: Active Directory\nProductivity Suite: Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)\nRemote Tools: Remote desktop platforms (e.g., SCCM, RDP, TeamViewer)#\nOther Tools: Knowledge of financial application ecosystems and platforms\nEnterprise Environment Skills:\nWindows Server\nEUC (End User Computing) / Desktop Engineering\nAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD)Qualifications\n\nMinimum 4-5 years of relevant IT support experience.\nCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent are desirable but not essential.Why Join?\n\nWork with a leading global IT services provider and a prestigious financial services firm.
