Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for strong hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy and core Microsoft services. We require proven Microsoft 365 administration experience, including tenant setup, SharePoint, OneDrive and security management. We are looking for experience with Microsoft security technologies such as Entra ID, Intune, Defender, endpoint security and access controls. We need solid networking knowledge, including firewall configuration, switch management, VPNs, TCP/IP and VLANs. We require experience monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. We are looking for proven ability to create and maintain PowerShell scripts and deliver clear technical documentation. We require relevant Microsoft qualifications, ideally equivalent to M365, MCSA or higher. Desirable: CCNA or equivalent networking certification. Desirable: experience with Linux server administration, AWS or other cloud environments, container technologies, SAN storage or database platforms. Desirable: experience working with virtualised environments, Dell server hardware or enterprise monitoring and logging tools. Responsibilities: We will manage and maintain our infrastructure, including servers, networks, security controls and endpoint technology. We will support and develop Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services and core business systems. We will help strengthen network resilience through patching, monitoring, vulnerability management, disaster recovery testing and security best practice. We will work closely with our Head of IT, Information Security and wider stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable IT services. We will drive continuous improvement across infrastructure performance, security and documentation.
