Role Overview
Nursery – Bright Horizons Bank Street Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary – Starting from £32,864 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location – Canary Wharf, London
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, support, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional care and education.
* Ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding standards.
* Promote individual child milestones and support development.
* Maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
Qualifications
* Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
* Previous experience in an Early Years setting – ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar.
* Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and the wider legislative requirements.
* Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
* Effective communication skills with children and adults.
