Painter and General Building Operative
Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently seeking to recruit a Painter and General Building Operative (two positions) HM Prison Gartree (Market Harborough).
Painter
Painter Duties:
Planned and reactive paint work in all areas of the prison.
Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, materials and additional company property.
Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directive.
This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
Painter Skills and Experience:Qualified to NVQ 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating
Previous relevant work-related experience.
Good awareness and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessments.
Comfortable working alongside prisoners.
Pay rate: £18.00 to £21.00 per hour
Working hours: Hours are usually between 7-8am start and 4-5pm finish Monday to Friday.
