Job Title: Implementation Accountant (SaaS Finance) – Fully Remote – £50k
A fast-growing SaaS finance business is looking for an Implementation Accountant to join their expanding Professional Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working with systems, clients, and process improvement, rather than traditional day-to-day finance.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to implement and configure cloud-based finance software, helping them transition from legacy systems and optimise their financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end implementation of finance software for new clients
* Gather and analyse client requirements and translate them into system configurations
* Configure the system including chart of accounts, workflows, reporting, and financial processes
* Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation
* Run workshops, user training, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Guide clients on best practice and process improvements
* Provide go-live support and ensure a smooth transition
What We’re Looking For:
* Accounting background (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience)
* Experience implementing or working with finance systems (e.g. ERP or SaaS platforms)
* Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting)
* Confident working directly with clients and stakeholders
* Technically minded with strong Excel skills
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
