* This position will be partially remote, with the expectation of being in the office in person on a rotating basis after a training period.
Role: The Commercial Loan Credit Analyst provides financial services of superior quality and convenience through conducting comprehensive credit analysis of new and existing commercial & industrial, construction, and commercial real estate loan relationships. Develop critical written analysis of new loan opportunities, manage the portfolio, and review/renew existing portfolio credit relationships. This position collaborates with internal team members and interacts frequently with members.
Pay: The pay for this position is $71,980.58 annually.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive credit analysis of new and existing commercial & industrial, and commercial real estate loan relationships. Perform due diligence of new credit opportunities, ensuring loan requests comply with policies and procedures, financial statement analysis, developing detailed written analysis, forming independent risk ratings, and assisting in loan approval presentations.
* Complete annual loan reviews and renewals for existing portfolio credit relationships.
* Manage the commercial loan portfolio, perform stress-testing, trend analysis, and risk assessments.
* Serve as a contact for members regarding new and existing loans; assist with loan documentation and closings.
* Assist with construction loans, including inspections, endorsements, disbursements, and documentation review.
* Collaborate with the Commercial Lending team for credit analysis, portfolio reviews, and management; interact with members to gather information.
* Recommend and implement improvements in department operations, standards, and procedures.
* Oversee maintenance of the commercial portfolio and participate in ALCO meetings to review financial performance and model assumptions.
* Maintain knowledge of all credit union products, services, and promotions.
