HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver - ASAP Start
Pay: £17.25 per hour (weekly pay)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract: Until 31st December 2025 (potential extension)
Induction: 8 hours (date to be confirmed)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team immediately. You will play a key role in delivering refuse and recycling services across Mid Sussex, ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily refuse and recycling collections
* Operate all machinery safely and effectively
* Use safe lifting and manual handling techniques
* Utilise in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
* Complete paperwork accurately and in real time
* Conduct daily vehicle and machinery inspections before and after use
* Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
* Assist refuse loaders when required to ensure timely completion of routes
* Maintain positive relations with the public and other road users
What We're Looking For
1. Valid HGV Class 2 licence (maximum 6 points)
