Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of the people we support with various care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re proud and passionate about what we do.
Since our early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services across England and Scotland. Our support is based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect, aligning with our vision ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and are proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. Recently, we have won or been shortlisted for numerous national and regional awards!
We focus on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for those we support. In return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and professional and personal development. We provide all necessary training, support, and personal protective equipment, and will help you develop your career with us.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
The people we support need assistance with daily activities, including medication management, moving & positioning, eating & drinking, personal care, and communication. They all mobilize using wheelchairs, so support with mobility is essential.
Their home features a communal garden and lounges, a big swing in the garden, and a sensory room for relaxation.
What is important to them
They get along well and enjoy activities like visiting cafes, going to the cinema, oceanarium, long beach walks, dinners, and more. They often like to go out in their cars, so a full UK driving license is essential.
Your values:
We recognize that not everyone will have professional experience, so we recruit based on values. We welcome applicants from all walks of life, including those with personal experience, no experience, or vast support work backgrounds. Our core values are: We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable. We look for qualities like patience, empathy, compassion, a strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, determination, problem-solving skills, and resilience.
