Creative Sales Account Manager (Textiles)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Sales Account Manager to join a well-established textile business, working with a wide range of clients across fashion, costume, and education sectors.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in textiles, fashion, or design, who is passionate about building relationships and driving sales within a creative industry. The position will involve managing key accounts across the UK, with some opportunity for international travel.
Creative Sales Account Manager – Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across fashion, education, and costume sectors
2. Identify and develop new business opportunities within both UK and international markets
3. Attend customer meetings, present fabric collections, and respond to client briefs
4. Provide product guidance and support to customers, ensuring a high level of service throughout
5. Plan and organise customer visits, managing accounts from enquiry through to delivery
6. Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
7. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to support content creation and brand presence
8. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
9. Work towards and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Creative Sales Account Manager – Skills & Experience
10. Background in textiles, fashion, costume, or a related creative field
11. Previous experience in a sales or account management role is desirable
12. Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships
13. A keen interest in trends within fashion and textiles
14. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
15. Proactive and driven, with a customer-focused approach
16. Confident presenting to clients and managing multiple accounts
17. Willingness to travel, including occasional international trips
18. Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
