Raise Projects – Estimator – Paintworks, Bristol

The Estimator Role
As an Estimator at Raise Projects, you’ll play a pivotal role in the company’s continued growth, contributing to the success of projects typically valued up to £5 million. You’ll be responsible for managing the tendering process, preparing accurate cost plans, and helping shape winning bids that align with Raise’s commitment to quality and value.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Analysing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and supply‑chain partners
* Sourcing and evaluating subcontractor quotations
* Identifying commercial opportunities and risks
* Supporting the project team with pre‑construction and early design input
You’ll work closely with Ryan primarily, and the wider pre‑construction team to help secure and deliver meaningful projects that make a difference.
Required Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor or construction management environment
* Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding of construction methods and procurement routes
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
* A collaborative, proactive, and detail‑driven approach
Experience in sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, or residential will be advantageous.

Location
This role is based at Raise Projects’ new headquarters at The Paintworks, Bristol, with occasional travel to sites and client meetings across the region.
