Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Orthopaedic Specialist Physiotherapist to join our client’s team in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, delivering specialised physiotherapy services to orthopaedic patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and rehabilitating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopaedic conditions.
* Develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
* Provide manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and participate in clinical audits.
* Contribute to service development initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with professional standards and guidelines.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications and Experience
* HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
* BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
* Significant experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
* Proficiency in manual therapy and exercise prescription.
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Commitment to high standards of patient care and professional practice.
