Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity
This 12‑month secondment or fixed‑term post is part of the NHS Forth Valley Clinical Governance Team, supporting coordination, facilitation, and oversight of Significant Adverse Event Reviews (SAERs) to ensure adverse events are reviewed in line with national guidance and local policy.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate, facilitate, and oversee SAERs across NHS Forth Valley.
* Provide practical and professional support to services throughout the SAER process.
* Contribute to the identification of learning and support the dissemination of learning to reduce harm.
* Support the strengthening of clinical governance arrangements.
* Work collaboratively with clinical and managerial colleagues and respond flexibly to service needs and sensitive situations.
Qualifications
* Experience in nursing, healthcare, clinical governance, and/or quality improvement.
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and managerial colleagues.
* Flexibility to respond to service needs and sensitive situations as they arise.
* Acceptance into the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

* Pro‑rated part‑time hours with corresponding hourly rate increase to maintain pay.
