Overview
We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join a well-established, trend-led supplier. This role will focus on managing existing accounts while also developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will already have strong connections with Buyers across mid- to value-focused online retailers, high street retailers, or supermarkets. You will work as part of a collaborative team of designers and garment technologists, reporting directly to the Director.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing accounts
* Drive sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new clients via your network
* Collaborate closely with design teams on product development tailored to customer needs
* Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines with the design and production teams
* Demonstrate strong commercial awareness of margins while working with merchandisers and buyers
* Manage high-volume orders effectively and in a timely manner
Person Specification
* Proven track record of success in a similar role within a supplier environment
* Established network of Buyer relationships across relevant retail sectors
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with both clients and factories
* Strong organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of knitwear products is advantageous
