Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
* Current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).
* Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history.
Main Duties
* Deliver industry‑leading customer service.
* Deterrence of violence and public‑order offences.
* Conduct patrols of the store.
* Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
* Liaise with store management teams.
* Liaise with police and crime partnerships to foster a strong working relationship that supports crime reduction in store.
* Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety for colleagues and customers.
