We're excited to offer a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Cost Manager to join our dynamic Energy team! If you're someone who thrives on accuracy and efficiency, and you love making a real impact behind the scenes, this role is for you. You'll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly, supporting your teammates so they can continue to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
Here's what you'll be getting stuck into:
* Pulling together weekly revenue and cost reports, managing journals, and giving the commercial team the cost details they need.
* Looking into weekly and monthly data to spot trends, track performance, and help guide smarter decisions.
* Taking full ownership of the cost and invoicing process - making sure everything runs smoothly and lines up with the WBS structure.
* Working closely with the commercial team to answer any cost-related questions and putting the right controls in place to stay compliant.
* Leading the charge on financial and cost reporting, while managing and supporting a Cost Analyst and Cost Administrator.
What do I need to succeed?
* You've got great communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a knack for making sense of data. You're confident with numbers and know your way around Excel, formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
* You've either got some solid experience in a similar role or you're recently qualified with a degree in business, accountancy, or quantity surveying.
* You're happy to hit the road now and then, this role does involve occasional travel between offices, so a full driving licence is a must.
