THE ROLE:

As Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for selling an extensive range of inhalation devices, airway clearance systems and respiratory-care solutions (spanning devices, consumables and pharmaceuticals) into hospitals and community respiratory centres across your region. The role will focus on specialist respiratory physiotherapists, respiratory nurses, consultants and professors. You will manage key accounts, develop new relationships and grow revenue with a strategic yet hands-on approach. Training and education of users - both in hospital and community-based settings - will be central to your role, including device demonstrations, in-service training, customer workshops and support of clinical users.

THE PERSON:

To be considered, you should have:

* Experience selling medical devices or pharmaceuticals into hospitals or direct to clinicians (ideally in respiratory care)

* Or a respiratory nurse / respiratory physiotherapist looking to move into sales

* Knowledge in chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD or cystic fibrosis is highly beneficial

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being passionate, enthusiastic, motivated and able to engage with a varied clinical customer base

* A self-starter mindset, comfortable working autonomously in the field, managing your own diary and pipeline

* The ability to deliver professional training and education to clinicians and allied health professionals


THE COMPANY:

Our client is a respected specialist in inhalation therapy, devices and solutions for pulmonary diseases. They have a long-standing heritage in respiratory care, with a strong reputation among doctors, physiotherapists and distribution partners. Their focus on innovation, high-quality manufacturing (with products designed for the whole care path from diagnosis through treatment and monitoring) means you will be representing products that are clinician-trusted and patient-focused.


THE PACKAGE FOR THE REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER

* Basic salary: £35,000 - £45,000

* On-target earnings: £8,000 + uncapped commission

* Car allowance: £500 per month

* Benefits: healthcare cover, pension scheme, laptop and phone

* Annual leave: 25 days + statutory holidays

Location / Territory: Scotland and North East England (field-based) including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Motherwell, Dundee, Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough.
