Job Description
A leading independent construction consultancy are now seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will lead the delivery of complex projects, providing strategic quantity surveying and commercial advice to a portfolio of established clients. This Associate Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to manage a team of quantity surveyors while remaining actively involved in project delivery. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be based in London and will play a key role in the continued growth of the quantity surveying division.

The Associate Quantity Surveyor will work across commercial and mixed-use developments, delivering professional quantity surveying services from feasibility through to completion. This Associate Quantity Surveyor position offers leadership responsibility within a structured and collaborative environment.
The RoleAs the Associate Quantity Surveyor you will oversee multiple projects and support the wider quantity surveying team.
The role will include:Leading pre and post contract quantity surveying servicesPreparation and review of cost plans and budgetsContract administration under JCT forms of contractManaging procurement strategies and tender processesOverseeing valuations, variations and final accountsLeading client meetings and reporting at senior levelMentoring and developing Senior and Assistant Quantity SurveyorsSupporting business development and client relationship management
The Associate Quantity Surveyor?You will be an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness and leadership capability.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor must have:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction disciplineMRICS chartered statusProven experience delivering commercial or mixed-use projects in LondonStrong knowledge of JCT contractsExperience managing and developing teamsConfident client-facing and stakeholder management skills
