EYFS or KS1 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

This is a maternity cover post and will continue until the substantive post holder returns.
The successful candidate will be placed in Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1, depending on experience and expertise.

Seascape Primary School are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teachers to join our warm, happy and welcoming school from September 2026.

Confident in planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Planning, delivering and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum
Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring pupil progress and adapting provision to meet individual needs
Working effectively as part of a team and contributing to wider school life
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
Applicants must hold a qualification that meets the approved ‘full and relevant’ criteria for Early Years qualifications and inclusion in staffing ratios.
Shortlisting will take place during the week beginning 15th June, with interviews scheduled for the week beginning 22nd June.
