We are looking for a qualified electrician to work for the company on an on-going sub-contractor basis. Most of our work is fast-paced commercial/retail jobs of both a project and service nature and you will usually be working as part of a pair or a small team.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable leading jobs on site and exercising an appropriate level of authority, communicating professionally with the site foreman or main contractor, other trades, and colleagues who may include apprentices requiring your guidance.
We accept jobs throughout the UK on high intensity retail projects so a willingness to travel and work away from home is important. Day and night/late shift work is included in this role.
Our office and stores are based near Hassocks/Burgess Hill, so you will need to be close enough to commute in for meetings, collection of materials etc. as required. For this reason we do not accept candidates throughout the UK.
A full driving license is required - own van is preferable but we discuss the hiring of a company van if needed.
Potential September start.
An ECS Gold Card is required.
SSSTS/SMSTS highly desirable.
2391 Inspection and Testing Engineer
Own tools are required.
IPAF/PASMA preferred but not essential.

Access to online H&S training can be provided to ensure you have the necessary certificates to gain site access.
Applicants without the necessary testing qualification or equivalent level of experience may be considered for this role if they demonstrate other beneficial qualities. The pay rate will adjust accordingly. Rates will be dependent upon experience and can be discussed. Price work is also a feature.
