Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings) Location: Loughborough and surrounding areas Hours: School hours (Monday–Friday) About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable 1:1 Tutor to support pupils in Loughborough, working within both home and school settings. This role involves supporting students who may need additional help to stay engaged with their education and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs (SEN) Plan and adapt lessons based on individual learning styles Monitor and report on student progress Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Requirements: Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to tailor teaching approaches to individual needs Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK Desirable: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification Experience supporting students with SEN or in alternative provision Ability to teach core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science What We Offer: Flexible working hours during school time Competitive pay rates Ongoing support and training Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives How to Apply: If you are passionate about helping young people succeed, we would love to hear from you.
