Geotechnical Engineer\n\nLocation: Sunderland\n\nReference: BY1869\n\nSalary: £30,000 - £36,000\n\nA specialist site investigation consultancy based in Sunderland is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. You'll be working on a variety of Ground Investigation, Remediation and Geotechnical Design projects around the North East - leading projects, developing skills and collaborating with team members.\n\nThe successful Geotechnical Engineer will receive:\n\nA competitive salary (£30,000 - £36,000). \nCompany benefit scheme.\nSocial and friendly team to work with.\nWork on a variety of exciting projects.\nClient facing work allowing for networking.The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be overseeing site and report work.
You'll be carrying out site investigations, retaining walls, foundation design and slope stability design, writing reports, managing contracts, communicating with clients and carrying out desktop studies.\n\nThe Geotechnical Engineer selected must have:\n\nExperience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental schemes relating to contaminated land.\nA degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering or a similar, relevant subject.\nHold a valid UK Driving licence.\nCommutable to Sunderland and the surrounding area.\nHave a full right to work in the UK.If you are interested in this or other roles in Geotechnical Engineering/Consulting roles please do not hesitate to contact Beth Young on (url removed) or call (phone number removed).
