The role
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Planning to lead our planning function and play a key role on our senior leadership team. This role is central to aligning production, supply chain, and commercial operations, ensuring we meet customer demand efficiently, sustainably, and cost-effectively.
What you'll do
1. Develop and lead the company’s planning strategy to support operational and business objectives.
2. Oversee production scheduling, demand forecasting, and capacity planning to drive OTIF and efficiency.
3. Lead and develop a team of planners, while collaborating closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance.
4. Leverage tools like SAP and QS to deliver data-led decision-making and continuous improvement.
5. Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure the planning function remains agile and resilient.
What you'll need
1. Proven experience in production planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong working knowledge of SAP, QS, and demand forecasting systems.
3. Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability and a focus on continuous improvement.
4. Confident communicator and collaborator, capable of influencing across functions and at senior levels.
5. A customer-focused and commercially aware approach to planning.
