Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Main responsibilities: To be a key member of the driving team; assisting with the smooth-running of the company’s transportdepartment, and organise the warehouse; by booking-in shipments and advising when shipments are
back.
Day to day duties:
* Completing delivery run sheets and uploading accurate information.
* Securing goods and maintaining proper documentation.
* Adhering to security and health & safety protocols.
* Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any defects.
* Providing assistance to colleagues and reporting transport issues.
* Delivering high levels of customer service with professional appearance.
* Verifying freight accuracy during loading/unloading.
* Communicating with security companies and providing accurate shipment details.
* Ensuring timely scanning and reporting of delivery and collection data.
* Undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by the Manager or Directors.
Essential
* Hold a full UK driving licence (no HGV licence required, but desirable).
* Have a good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
* Have the ability to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadlines.
* Have strong communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Be a team player in the transport team, as well as work with staff in other departments.

Knowledge
* Intermediate Microsoft Office: – Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams.
* Data management, keep accurate records for the department.

Due to the nature of the role there are a number of compulsory checks that must be
carried out.
1. A criminal record check - basic disclosure (DBS) carried out by the Disclosure and
Barring Service.
