Main duties of the job
We're ideally looking for someone confident in delivering a range of services including:
* Venepuncture
* ECGs
* Urinalysis
* Cervical screening (smears)
* Baby and childhood immunisations
* Wound care and dressings
* Chronic disease management (desirable but not essential)
If you don't yet have experience in all areas, we'd still love to hear from you. Training and support can be provided for the right candidate.

As a Practice Nurse or Practice Nurse Associate at Wallingford Medical Practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to our diverse patient population. Working within our experienced nursing team and wider multidisciplinary group, you will be expected to work autonomously while also contributing to shared patient care and service improvement initiatives.

* Administering vaccines and injections safely and in line with current guidance
* Promoting self-care and healthy lifestyle choices through patient education
Professional Practice & Teamwork
* Working collaboratively with GPs, other nurses, healthcare assistants, and allied health professionals to support integrated patient care
* Participating in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
* Contributing to safeguarding processes and responding appropriately to clinical risk or concern
* Maintaining a compassionate and respectful approach in all patient interactions
Governance, Quality & Safety
* Adhering to local and national guidelines, including infection control, cold chain, and medicines management
