The Role:
We are looking for a conscientious, self-motivated, and hard-working individual to join our small in-house Legal team at Mulberry. You will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of legal matters and to learn, develop, and grow under the guidance of our Group General Counsel.
Responsibilities:
* Provide general assistance to the Group General Counsel on various legal and administrative tasks, including commercial contracts, terms and conditions of trading, IT contracts, data protection issues, trademarks, and property leases.
* Support the Group General Counsel in responding to queries and providing advice on legal and contractual matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, licenses, NDAs, and other legal documents, and advising internal clients.
* Ensure accurate filing, diarising, circulation, and recording of contracts, agreements, and actions.
* Conduct legal research on various topics, including new legislation and policy changes.
* Assist with actions against counterfeiters and IP infringers, particularly online (e.g., Facebook takedowns).
* Act as a point of contact in the legal office in the absence of the Group General Counsel.
* Support departmental administration, such as scanning, follow-ups, scheduling, and filing.
* Assist with Data Protection and other training areas.

Skills and Experience:
* Strong academic background: LLB (essential), LPC (preferred).
* 2-3 years post-qualification experience in commercial contracts; experience with technology contracts is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical and commercial approach.
* Self-motivated, eager to learn, and flexible.
* Effective planning and prioritization skills.
* Highly organized with meticulous research and drafting skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of digital and social media platforms, e-commerce operations, and IT terminology.
