Role Summary
You’ll be working directly with young people in care, supporting them emotionally and practically as they transition into adulthood. Your role will include:
* Help them develop life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and self-care
* Support education, training, and employment goals
* Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
* Encourage positive relationships and community engagement
* Ensure safeguarding and compliance with care plans
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: Proven experience working with looked-after children aged 16–18
* Strong understanding of the challenges faced by care-experienced young people
* Ability to build trust and communicate effectively
* Calm under pressure, with a trauma-informed approach
* Commitment to promoting independence and self-confidence
