Bank Radiographer | X-Ray | Theatres | Private Hospital | Slough
Spire Thames Valley are recruiting for a Bank Radiographer to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Providing highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients and to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required
2. Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
3. Ensure that Spire radiology procedures are implemented and maintained
Who we're looking for
4. BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
5. HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
6. Experience working in Theatres & X-Ray
7. Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
