About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be evident in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. A positive attitude, energy, and the ability to get along with people are essential. You should be a good communicator, skilled at listening and giving instructions, and always considerate and kind in your interactions with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what actions to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We will provide full training, offering an excellent opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a range of benefits and support to promote your well-being and career development, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
