The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby would be the ideal locations.

Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives.

With the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager manages all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, sales planning, implementing sales activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans accordingly.

The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to customers such as Spine Surgeons, clinical and non-clinical decision makers, and supporting customer acquisition through technical expertise within the territory.

Responsibilities:

* Promote, demonstrate, and sell a range of spine products to NHS and private hospitals.
* Achieve sales results aligned with monthly and annual targets and KPIs.
* Sell and demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments.
* Conduct trials and evaluations of products in clinical settings to drive sales.
* Provide excellent customer service during all activities related to customer acquisition and retention.
* Develop and execute an effective sales business plan independently.
* Manage resources and materials in the sales area, including consignment stock management.
* Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision makers, including surgeons and hospital staff, promoting the company’s positive image.
* Organize and conduct training workshops with surgical and theatre staff participation.
* Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales activities and market insights.
* Establish relationships with key opinion leaders in the territory.
* Ensure all business activities comply with ethical and legal standards.
* Collaborate with other company functions to meet sales objectives.
* Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments.
* Perform other relevant duties as needed.

Key skills and qualities include excellent interpersonal skills, decisiveness, assertiveness, ambition, tenacity, self-motivation, adaptability, planning ability, organization, resilience under pressure, flexibility, mobility, business acumen, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience required includes proven sales, account management, and business development, with a track record of meeting targets within budgets. Medical device sales experience, especially in spine, orthopaedics, or theatre environments, is essential. A valid driving license is required as this is a field-based role.
