Role Purpose
This senior leadership role sets the strategic direction for Capital, Warehousing & Logistics Procurement across Premier Foods. You will play a pivotal part in enabling the delivery of our expanding capital investment programme, and in building resilient, costeffective, scalablelogisticsand warehousing solutions across the UKandinternationally.
As a key member of the Procurement Leadership Team and wider Supply Chain leadership community, you will shapelong-terminfrastructure,capabilityand performance during an exciting period of change and investment across our supply chain.
Whatyou'llbedoing
* Defining and leading theend-to-endprocurement strategy for Capital, Warehousing and Logistics aligned to Group strategy and growth ambitions.
* Providingleadership to Capital & Logistics procurement teams, developing capability,engagementand future talent.
* Leadingprocurement activity for major capital programmes including engineering lines, equipment, construction/civils,automationand specialist services.
* Owningprocurement strategy for UK and international warehousing, transport,freightand distribution networks.
* Developingand challengingcommercial models, including TCO,indexationandperformance-basedmechanisms.
* Partneringwith Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Project teams to align on plans and delivery.
* Leadinghigh value,highrisknegotiations with strategic suppliers andlogisticspartners.
* Ensuringstrong governance, compliance, contracting discipline and risk management across portfolios.
Whatweneedfromyou
* Senior procurement experience in complexsupplychainrelatedcategories.
* Strongtrack recorddeliveringmultiyear, complex programmes.
* Knowledge of Capital, Logistics or Warehousing (desirable, not essential).
* Deep commercial capability, including total cost andshouldcostmodelling.
* Experience leading strategic supplier relationships andhighperformingteams.
* Excellent stakeholder management andseniorlevelinfluencing.
* Acontinuousimprovementmindset and collaborative leadership style.
