This is a meaningful position where you’ll support families during one of the most important moments in their lives. As a Bearer, you’ll assist with carrying coffins and supporting funeral ceremonies under the guidance of the Funeral Director. You’ll help ensure every detail is handled with care, compassion, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Support funeral ceremonies by carrying coffins and assisting with other ceremonial duties. Work closely with Funeral Arrangers and Directors to understand daily schedules and locations. Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and respectfully presented. Carry out additional duties as requested by your manager. Stay informed of company updates and communications. Undertake training related to FCA compliance, although your role will not involve regulated activities unless deemed competent.
