About the Role
Were seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join our client, a leading manufacturer of automotive components. This is a hands-on role where youll perform quality inspections and lead a small team to ensure that all products meet exacting customer and company standards. We are looking for someone who has previous experience as a Quality Inspection Supervisor or Team Leader in engineering or manufacturing, ideally within the automotive or carbon fibre sectors.(Applications from food manufacturing backgrounds cannot be considered.)
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and support the daily activities of the inspection team to meet schedules, quality standards, and on-time delivery targets.
2. Review and resolve customer issues, including assessing borderline components.
3. Ensure all inspected parts meet customer requirements for carbon fibre, lacquer, and paint standards, both mid-process and pre-dispatch.
4. Collaborate with other departments to rework non-conforming products.
5. Record and communicate non-conformances in the internal quality database.
