Role
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to manage a regional portfolio of SME industrial accounts (up to £500k revenue) under single‑source agreements for hazardous waste services. The role focuses on driving profitable growth, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and building long‑term partnerships across key manufacturing sectors such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical, and metals. This position covers the South West of England and Wales around the Newport area.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and exceed sales targets across a defined portfolio of industrial customers in key markets.
* Develop tailored hazardous waste solutions that meet commercial and environmental needs, creating mutual value.
* Apply knowledge of sustainability, circularity, and emerging technologies to influence customers and stakeholders.
* Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and advocacy through direct engagement and collaboration with internal teams.
* Identify and convert new opportunities to generate incremental sales across Tradebe's infrastructure.
* Create and execute account plans to grow customer relationships and committed volumes.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of industrial prospects to support ongoing sales growth.
* Manage pipeline and sales forecasts using CRM systems.
Qualifications
Results‑driven account management professionals with a strong track record of delivering against targets — preferably within the environmental or hazardous waste sector — are encouraged to apply. Candidates should bring commercial awareness, industry insight, and the ability to build trusted relationships, alongside a genuine interest in sustainability and environmental solutions.
