As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting students in overcoming learning obstacles and reaching their maximum potential. Your responsibilities will involve facilitating pre-planned lessons and activities while the teacher is not in class.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate lessons across various subjects.
2. Collaborate closely with teachers to implement customised learning activities for individuals, groups, or entire classes across all grade levels.Offer personalised learning support in accordance with a student-centred approach.
3. Inspire and guide students, aiding in the development of essential attributes, skills, and knowledge.
4. Cultivate positive and enduring relationships with students, addressing their distinct learning needs.
5. Evaluate and monitor student progress using diverse assessment methods.
6. Provide objective and comprehensive feedback and reports on student performance.
7. Contribute to the broader vision and mission of this institution.
You Will:
8. Have recent experience as a Teaching Assistant, or other work with young people and demonstrate a strong passion for working with students aged 7+.
9. Possess knowledge of, or be willing to learn about, the National curriculum and additional support needs.
10. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
11. Uphold high standards of professionalism and personal integrity.
