Applications Engineer – Mechanical Design / Vehicle Integration A growing engineering business is seeking an Applications Engineer to support the design and integration of specialist vehicle-based products. This Applications Engineer role focuses on mechanical and structural design, working closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality engineered solutions. The Applications Engineer will be involved in developing new concepts, producing detailed designs, and supporting prototype builds. This role offers a varied workload, combining CAD design, hands-on testing, and cross-functional collaboration. As an Applications Engineer, you will work on a range of projects involving metal structures, hydraulics, pneumatics, and occasionally electrical systems, ensuring designs are practical, manufacturable, and fit for purpose.
