Job Description
3. Supervise students during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being.
4. Encourage positive behaviour and resolve minor conflicts effectively.
5. Assist in the setup and tidying of lunch areas as required.
6. Provide support to students during meal times, including assistance with food and seating arrangements.
7. Monitor playground activities, ensuring safe play and adherence to rules.
8. Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff members promptly.
9. Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a harmonious environment.
10. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Lunchtime Supervisor should have:
11. A caring and attentive attitude towards working with children.
12. A keen awareness of health and safety practices in a school environment.
13. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and staff.
14. The ability to manage and supervise groups of children with confidence.
15. Flexibility and reliability to adapt to the needs of the role.
16. An understanding of safeguarding practices within the Not For Profit sector.
