We are pleased to be working with a well known independent Food Product manufacturer in the Manningtree area who are looking for a Quality Control Operative on a PERMANENT basis.
This role would suit an experienced Food Production / Machine Operative who is looking to move into Quality Control. Training on all aspects of quality will be provided for the right candidate but knowledge of BRC processes is essential, along side this, applicants will need their own transport due to location.
Duties of the Quality Control Operative ;
1. Carry out visual quality checks of product
2. Taking and recording CCPs, passing on any concerns to line leaders/managers
3. Daily checks of production equipment
4. Completing of daily and weekly cleaning schedules
5. Ensuring completion of health and safety paperwork for new starters
6. Printing of labels
7. Completing of package trace-ability paperwork
8. Updating and maintaining BRC related documents
9. Preparing samples to be sent for micro testing
10. Cold store and freezer daily checks
The ideal Quality Control Operative;
11. Experience in Food Manufacturing and Production and FMCG required
12. Computer literate
13. Knowledge of BRCGS process
14. Own transport due to location
15. Experience within Quality Control would be a distinct advantage
Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm
