Senior Management Accountant - Taunton

This is a key role within the finance team, responsible for delivering high-quality, timely financial information to support both strategic and operational decision-making. You’ll play an important part in strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and supporting the ongoing development of the finance function.
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports
2. Providing insightful financial analysis to senior stakeholders to support planning and decision-making
3. Reviewing, managing and improving internal finance processes, controls and procedures
4. Supporting and driving change initiatives within the finance function
5. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
6. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards
7. Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external auditors where required
What you'll need to succeed
8. Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA
qualified
9. Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role
10. High levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
11. A collaborative team player with a proactive, flexible approach
12. Strong IT capability, including advanced Excel and Power BI
13. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage at all levels of the business
