Quiet Mark was created as a next generation commercial award programme closely associated with the Noise Abatement Society Charity. Established in 1959 the Noise Abatement Society (NAS) is the only charity NGO in the UK, indeed the world, that specialises in every aspect of sound - how it affects us and how the sounds that we make affect others.

Who You Are

You are energetic, proactive, detailed-oriented communicator. An enthusiastic team player who would be willing to get involved and support with all duties required.

The successful applicant will be professional possessing excellent swift writing skills, attention to detail, excited to contribute to QM’s purpose-led business, keen to be a great supportive member of our growing team, able to build long-term positive relationships with stakeholders. There is an opportunity to develop and progress within the role with time as the business continues to scale.

The Role

Core role duties:

* Assist in drafting, editing, proofreading internal and external published communications, including press releases, blog posts and campaign comms.
* Assist in-house press office manager(s) in fielding daily press platform enquiries and daily press, brands and partner communications
* Manage and monitor in-house press platforms, assist in developing emerging opportunities.
* Assist in managing asset uploads to press platforms, providing reports on platform performance, develop great relationships with platform providers and partners.
* Assist with managing and responding to consumer inquiries via the main email inbox.
* Assist with social media accounts supporting the company’s social media strategy.
* Track and analyse social media metrics and trends to support communication strategies.
* Communicate with our architect’s network, assisting with CPD sign-up emails, promoting and assisting on upcoming events.
* Assist in the collection and processing of assets from brands, collaborating with licensing, digital and technical teams across the business.
* Provide administrative support for uploading assets to central drives.
* Conduct brand outreach to promote the use of QM on key platforms.
* Support brand communications in updating project pages and brand pages.
* Assist in planning content and research projects or exercises across the business.

Key Skills & Qualifications

* Work experience in a press office or a fast-paced environment would be an advantage, or used to multitasking in newsroom style pace of work.
* A true team player, keen to assist, support and be mentored by senior management
* Natural ease of communication and writing skills
* Ability to maintain consistent professional tone working with global brands, press offices
* Customer service experience ideally with global brands and premium businesses.
* Able to work independently, autonomously, intuitively taking initiative as a self-starter.
* Communications assistance and social media experience on a business scale
* Ability and passion to learn and develop new skills & expertise with maturity and patience.
* Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism would be an advantage.

Perks

* Hours: Mon - Fri 9am-5pm
* Remote
* Salary: - £24k- £27k
* Contributory Pension
* Holidays: 25 Days ex Bank Holidays
* Location: Mainly a remote role – You may be required to attend QM hub occasionally in Sussex or London.
