DUTIES Your duties as the Manufacturing Team Leader / Production Operative Supervisor include: Production Leadership: Overseeing the day-to-day running of production lines during the PM shift Target Achievement: Ensuring production targets set by the Shift Leader are achieved and accurately recorded Quality Control: Maintaining quality standards across all working areas Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring all team members wear correct PPE and follow safety procedures Team Management: Leading, motivating and managing a team of between 3 and 11 production operatives Equipment Control: Ensuring all required equipment is signed out at the start of the shift and returned at the end Documentation: Completing and maintaining all required production and traceability paperwork Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues to minimise downtime and maintain output Operational Support: Supporting HSE and quality teams as required Operational Flexibility: Undertaking general operative duties across production areas when needed to support operations CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in a production / manufacturing environment Proven leadership and people management skills Strong communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly Good time management and organisational skills Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment A positive and proactive work ethic Commitment to following health and safety procedures Ability to maintain quality standards consistently Physically able to work in an active manufacturing environment, including operating machinery and manual handling DESIRABLE FMCG environment experience would be desirable, but not essential HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
