We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer with sliding head experience to be part of our busy production team.
You’ll be a key part of our manufacturing process—ensuring all components are produced accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be joining a well -established, busy, steady manufacturing company, supplying into industry sectors, such as nuclear power, oil and gas, renewables, defence and power generation.

Commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Wednesbury, Wombourne, Cradley Heath, Oldbury, Willenhall, Kingswinford, Stourbridge and Brierley Hill
KEY RESPONSIBILIITES
* Set up, program, and operate Citizen L32 Sliding Head Machines
* Adjust tooling and machine settings as required
* Use mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve machine issues
* Work with a range of metals, including exotic alloys, to produce precision components
* Maintain tooling and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
* Perform accurate measurements using basic maths and precision tools
* Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and uphold quality standards
REQUIREMENTS
* You must have experience of Setter and Operating CNC Sliding Head Machines
* Preferably with Programming knowledge
* It would be highly beneficial for you to have experience of working with a variety of exotic metals
* Proficient in using micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
* Happy to work days
